	Michael A. Fagalde - Mike@mercedlaw.com Michael A. Fagalde was born and raised in San Jose and attended San Jose State University and the University of Santa Clara Law School. In 2008 Michael received a Masters of Science degree in Psychology from Walden University. He has practiced law since 1984, in the areas of criminal defense, including capital cases, juvenile law, family law, real estate, unlawful detainers, personal injury, and civil litigation. He has served as President of both the Merced and Mariposa County Bar Associations, chaired the citizen's task force on the design of the McComb's Youth Center in Merced, and is actively involved in the Mariposa Rotary Club. Michael is also President of the Board of Directors of the John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation in Mariposa and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mariposa School Foundation. Voted "Best Attorney" in Mariposa, per the Mariposa Gazette.
	Susan L. Albertoni - Susan@mercedlaw.com Susan L. Albertoni is a native Californian, born and raised in Oakdale. Susan practices in the areas of family law, criminal law, civil litigation. Susan's work in family law has included cases involving complex custody, visitation and support issues, as well as multi-million dollar marital estates with multiple complicated property issues. Susan was the prevailing appellate attorney in the published case of State of Oregon v. Vargas, 70 Cal. App. 4th 1123, a landmark case involving child support. Susan's criminal defense practice has included cases involving a variety of crimes, both felony and misdemeanor. Susan's civil litigation work has also involved a variety of legal issues ranging from environmental contamination, property claims, collections and personal injury. Education Susan received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco. She received her juris doctorate from San Joaquin College of Law Community Involvement Susan is very involved in the Merced community. She is a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Merced, Merced County Advisory Board, member and Treasurer for the Merced Symphony Association, Vice President of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Merced, President of the Mariposa Bar Association, member of the Merced County Bar Association, Merced Elks Lodge 1240, Stanislaus County Swiss Club and the Eastern Star, Escalonia Chapter.
	Kimberly G. Flores - Kim@mercedlaw.com Kimberly G. Flores was born in Merced and raised in Turlock, California. She returned to the Merced area in 2000. Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University Stanislaus in 1999 and went on to graduate as class salutatorian at Humphreys School of Law in 2003. Kimberly is a director of the Boys and Girls Club of Merced County, and a member of the American Bar Association, the Merced County Bar Association, the Mariposa County Bar Association, the Stanislaus County Bar Association, and the Stanislaus County Women Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Kimberly’s practice areas include personal injury, general civil litigation, real estate law, public entity defense, estate planning, trust and estate law, elder law, and appellate work.

	L. Carmen Ramirez - Carmen@mercedlaw.com Carmen Ramirez was born and raised in Merced. She graduated from Merced High School, Merced College and went on to UCLA where she completed her B.A. degree. Carmen returned to the Central Valley where she worked for the City of Merced for five years before beginning her career as an attorney. Carmen graduated from San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis and worked as a law clerk for the Merced City Attorney’s Office. Carmen has interests in business litigation, commercial development and real estate matters, personal injury representation, and criminal defense work. Carmen is on the Board of Directors of the Merced Theatre Foundation, is a member of the Central UC Merced Alumni Network, and is a past Board Member of the Merced County Arts Council.
